Dunelm’s Ria Rotating Shoe Storage is listed at £139.50, down from £199, a 30% reduction reported by Ideal Home. The 113.5cm-tall unit has four rotating shelves around an inner console, a design intended to store shoes in a compact footprint and suit smaller hallways.
Ideal Home reports that the Ria has four shelves that rotate around a central console. The arrangement lets users turn the unit to reach different pairs, while keeping some shoes on display. The report does not specify the unit’s total shoe capacity, so shoppers should check Dunelm’s product listing for measurements and fit before buying.
The item is 113.5cm tall, according to the report. Ideal Home says its top could also be used for a key tray, allowing the storage unit to serve as a small hallway surface. That is a suggested use, not a stated extra feature; the article does not give the width, depth, materials or weight.
The price reported is £139.50, reduced from £199. Ideal Home also cites mixed customer feedback about putting the unit together. One reviewer described it as good quality but said it was heavy and that assembly was not a job for a novice. Another reviewer called the build “too complicated.” These are individual reviews, rather than a complete measure of customer experience.
A Compact Option for Shoe Clutter
The discount may interest households seeking to clear shoes from a hallway without adding a long, conventional rack. The rotating shelves provide access from different sides, while the unit’s listed height gives buyers one useful dimension to compare with their available space. Whether it will fit a particular entryway depends on its footprint, which is not included in the source report.
Keeping footwear stored can also reduce clutter on the floor, where shoes may obstruct movement. The source frames this as a practical concern for small hallways, but it does not report any safety testing or claim that this product prevents falls. Buyers should still consider the unit’s stability, placement and the space needed to rotate it.
At £59.50 below the stated original price, the current listing offers a lower purchase price than the £199 figure in the report. That difference does not establish how long the deal will last or whether the item is available at every Dunelm location.

How the Rotating Design Works
Ideal Home’s report presents the Ria as a space-saving alternative to more familiar shoe racks and cabinets. It says the shelves turn around an inner console, allowing users to bring different shoes within reach rather than searching through a fixed row. The piece also mentions other compact storage products, including a folding rack and shoe boxes, but does not compare their prices or capacities directly with the Ria.
The same rotating design is also available in a Dunelm bookshelf, the article says. The writer describes having noticed that product before finding the shoe-storage version. This provides context for the design, but the source does not say whether the two products share parts or construction requirements.
For shoppers, the key practical distinction is between an item’s advertised dimensions and the room needed to use it. A rotating unit may need clearance to turn, and the report gives only its 113.5cm height. The full product specifications and assembly instructions are not reproduced in the article.

Price, Capacity and Assembly Details
The source reports the 30% discount as current but provides no publication date for the offer, end date, stock information or confirmation that the price applies online and in all stores. Prices and availability can change, so the live Dunelm listing is the place to verify the current terms.
The report also does not state how many pairs the unit holds, its width or depth, the materials used, or whether tools are included. Those details are needed to judge whether it will fit a particular hallway and meet a household’s storage needs. The quoted comments suggest assembly could be difficult, but the article provides no official assembly time or guidance on whether a paid setup service is available.

Check the Listing Before Buying
Shoppers interested in the Ria can check Dunelm’s product page for the current price, stock status and full dimensions before ordering. They should compare the footprint with their available floor space and allow enough room for the shelves to rotate, rather than relying on height alone.
Buyers should also review the assembly instructions and decide whether they will need help. The source does not report a confirmed end date for the sale or any further announcement from Dunelm, so it is not possible to say when the listed discount will change.
